My Bio:
I was an average runner in high school but my love for the sport drove me to pack up my earthly possessions and move to Colorado to enroll in Adams State University and work under the legendary Coach, Dr. Joe Vigil. I was a 1st year walk on, but made the team. Supreme dedication to the philosophy, teaching and training methods of Vigil's program rewarded me with an individual National Championship in the 3000m Steeplechase and All-American Honors in Cross Country. I had the privilege of running on 6 National Championship teams in XC and indoor and outdoor track. I began my coaching career in 1994 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and I have applied the same dedication and passion to coaching!
